Where the money goes
When a client in Europe pays a US invoice, three different parties can take a cut: the card network, the bank that converts the currency and any intermediary bank that relays the transfer. Individually they look small. Together they often add up to 4–6% of the invoice.
Invoice in your client’s currency
Clients pay faster when they see a price in their own currency, and you avoid surprise conversion fees on their side. Zenvo converts at the mid-market rate and shows the exact amount you will receive before you send the invoice.
Offer bank transfers for large amounts
For invoices above a few thousand dollars, instant bank transfers are usually cheaper than cards. Adding both options to your checkout lets each client pick what works for them.
